Jacob & Rufus is actually one creative person, Rufus Spiller. The Jacob bit is his unused first name but you can ask me about that later...
As a digitally native creative since 1998, I have progressed from digital designer and developer to region board level Creative Director. My primary skills are in the development of the creative product, managing clients, teams and projects,to ensure brand, campaign and vision are continually applied through the creative process.

Having specialised early on in all things digital and interactive, I am able to strategically merge agency techniques, speed and creativity with a very strong understanding of clients’ needs and methods.
I have managed creative digital teams since 2000 allowing me to be part of the ideation within the organisations I have been working within at a consultancy level. I have been a key part of the strategic direction and growth of those businesses helping to increase productivity, creativity, efficiency and in turn - profit for the company and ROI for the clients I have worked with.
As a creative, I have always endeavoured to lead by example and I have worked hard to remain both conceptually aware as well as ensuring that I can realise design work by staying up to date with the latest creative software.
Along the way I was also able to dedicate some of my time to become a founding member of the creative lecture forum that is LongLunch. LongLunch is a not-for-profit company that organises informal lectures, talks and events from respected individuals and companies in the design industry. This lead to working with student mentoring programs with Edinburgh College of Art and Telford College Edinburgh.

Rufus has an unrivalled understanding of how to realise a brand vision. Taking a strategic approach to creative development, Rufus directed the rebrand process, ensuring clear articulation of Cairn o'Mhor's proposition in the packaging redesign, whilst considering category and consumer insights. The successful redesign secured a national grocery retail listing for Cain o'Mhor's range.
